Recent News and Updates from PCS
Since the beginning of 2026, PCS has been awarded numerous contracts for THERMOPHASE™. These include both new orders and re-orders at multiple coal fired plants, gas fired combined cycle plants, and nuclear power plants. An order for a large nationally known university has also been procured by PCS for THERMOPHASE™ application.
Vistra Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Plant
PCS awarded THERMOPHASE™ order for Unit 2 (1,000MW) at the Vistra Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Plant. After THERMOPHASE™’s impressive performance improvements on Unit 1 (1,000MW), PCS will supply product for Unit 2 (1,000MW) to be applied during spring 2026. THERMOPHASE™'s success at Beaver Valley will be presented at the EPRI Balance of Plant Corrosion and Heat Transfer Conference in June 2026 jointly by Vistra Beaver Valley & PCS at the request of EPRI.
Overseas Indian Utilities
Overseas growth continues rapidly. This growth has been fueled by exceptional data from multiple plants (over 1,000MW) in India where THERMOPHASE™ was applied. Additional orders from Indian utilities are being awarded to PCS due to the significant plant improvements seen over the last year. With pending orders throughout Europe, THERMOPHASE™'s international expansion is compounding.
THERMOPHASE™ Paybacks
With over 10,000MW in the utility market alone & an expectation this will double in 2026, THERMOPHASE™ is providing plants with improved heat rates & increased MW. Quick & immediate paybacks have been and continue to be realized with THERMOPHASE™. As an example, with elevated electric rates recently during the January snowstorm, payback for THERMOPHASE™ was realized in just over a day.
